Ugly Duckling

I made a puppet.  It's a duckling puppet, and you can put your fingers in its wings to make it flap and you can put your fingers in its beak to make it quack.
It's kind of ugly.  At the very least, it certainly deserves the dubious compliment--"it looks so handmade!"

At the same time, though, I kind of love it.  It does look handmade, and it looks like it was made with love.  (It also looks like it could use some love.)
Willow likes it, anyway.  It's knit with Malabrigo Merino Worsted, using US 7 dpns.  It's actually very simple, and it's knit all in one piece--nothing is sewn on, it's just a lot of casting on and casting off and picking up stitches.

Quack, quack, mwah!
