Octopus

I used to call Willow Baby Octopus (along with Baby Dinosaur, for the weird roaring sounds she used to make), because once she began to move around, she seemed to have far more limbs than humans usually possess.  Even now, she still manages to have a foot in my face almost all the time.

This Baby Octopus is knit in Manos Maxima on US 6 needles, to make it nice and stiff but not too stiff.  Also those are the dpns I had.

I did remember to instruct future knitters to sew the eyes on before stuffing closing up the head, but I didn't remember to do it myself, so I needed to do a little creative needlework.

He looks like a very serious octopus.  An octopus with deep thoughts.
