AIDS Walk

Hello everyone-

It's Toaster. As some of you may know, I'm part of a theater company near my home. I got together a group of friends, and we decided to do the AIDS Walk NY. The Walk is coming up on Sunday, May 15th and I was hoping that some people would be interested in donating. AIDS is a problem that is constantly growing- currently, there are 33.4 million people around the world infected with AIDS. One in five people in the U.S. infected with HIV is unaware of it. This is the case now, but with proper funding research can be done to prevent more infections and allow us to work to find a cure for this deadly disease. The money raised by the AIDS Walk NY will be going to GMHC, a foundation that helps people who can't afford all of the essential things to live (people who have to choose between medicine or food) afford them without picking which one they'd prefer. Money will also go to 38 other foundations that fight AIDS in the New York tri-state area. We are very grateful for any donation, but I do apologize that the website has a minimum of $25- I had no control over that. Thank you so much for your donations!
