Outside!

After this long, cold Winter, there is nothing Willow likes better than the words "We're going out!"  (Of course, it is currently snowing, but we'll leave that for now.)

This weekend, we took RockNoodle, Toaster, and Willow to a strange, almost magical part of Liberty State Park, where you wind up on a deserted beach along Hudson River Bay.

RockNoodle was in heaven, finding beach glass (none of it ready), enormous oyster shells, car parts, and dessicated horseshoe crabs.

Things were a bit more challenging for Willow, who could not distinguish between what could be picked up and what could not, and who couldn't understand why she shouldn't just march right out into the bay.

But it was beautiful, and it was outside, and it was a sign of things to come.
