Through the Night

Willow slept for almost seven hours last night.  From 10:30 until quarter to five, she was asleep.

Dave poked her and almost woke her up halfway through, sure there was something wrong.  She seems unbroken.

Edited to add:

The following night, she slept from 7:00 pm to 1 am.  And then not anymore after that.  I'm not sure this sleeping for all those hours in a row is necessarily beneficial.

Please please please share your secret! My daughter is the same age as Willow, and the longest stretch she's slept through the night so far is 4 hours, which isn't bad for a 6 week old, but I'd love for her to sleep through the night.
Maybe I should stop staring at her? Nah. ;)

Wow! That's terrific, seeing as how her grandparents tried really hard to spoil her while they were there.

It was SUCH an unexpected treat to see you and Willow this a.m. She's such a delight, and I don't think I mentioned this (and I apologize for the oversight), but you look fantastic! Motherhood clearly agrees with you.

God, I don't have a secret. I have no earthly idea what happened. The night before we struggled to get her down and she woke every two or three hours. As she will probably do tonight.

I think the staring is okay. It's the poking at her that needs to stop.
